The LCD instrument cluster panel has a black background and white lettering. Dual Channel ABS

Advanced Bosch Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Hydraulic single disk brake at front and rear ensures greater safety and better control. A 282 mm disc brake with 2 pot caliper at front and 220 mm disc brake with single pot caliper at rear help to deliver precise stopping power.

249cc Air Cooled 4 Stroke Single-cylinder Engine

The FZ25 mounts a 249cc air-cooled 4-stroke, single-cylinder, SOHC, fuel-injected engine. Based on a reliable 250cc single-cylinder engine proven on sport bikes for the Japanese market, the FZ25's engine has been fine-tuned and optimized for the Indian traffic, primarily in the intake/exhaust system and the ignition system. The 74 × 58 mm bore × stroke, hemispherical combustion chamber and 9.8:1 compression ratio give this engine its maximum power output at 8,000 rpm and maximum torque at 6,000 rpm.

The ignition timing and injection maps for the fuel injection system were completely redone so that riders get a good feeling of acceleration while still enjoying the laidback, upright riding position.

The LCD instrument cluster panel has a black background and white lettering. Comfortable single piece Seat

The two-level seat has an excellent feeling of fit and cushioning that works well with an upright, relaxed riding position. The cushioning material has a suitable degree of firmness and is paired with a seat material that offers superb fit to provide a steady ride and comfort for both the rider and pillion rider. The pillion seat has a 16% larger seating surface area, is 26 mm wider in the hip area and is 5 mm thicker for added comfort.

The Ray ZR Street Rally is powered with an air-cooled, 4-stroke, SOHC, 2-valve, 113cc "BLUE CORE" engine with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) unit which provides both smooth initial acceleration and pickup. It also features technologies that reduce horsepower loss like a roller rocker arm, and achieves excellent fuel efficiency and running performance. It is tuned with settings that provide easy-to-use power, especially in the extremely low speed ranges.

Unified Braking System

UBS has been developed for better stopping power of your 2 wheelers. UBS links both front & rear brakes with the rear brake pedal. When the rider applies the rear brake, the rear brake and a portion of the front brake are applied. For full braking performance, apply both the brake lever and the brake pedal simultaneously. The front pocket is large enough to fit one 500 mL plastic drink bottle. A convenience hook (maximum load capacity of 1.5 kg) for bags etc., is positioned below the seat in the 'foot well'.

Two-level (raised rear) seat for great comfort

A two-level seat (raised rear section) with a sporty look is adopted. The tandem seat portion has slightly softer cushioning and has about 10 mm more cushioning material thickness than on the current models. The sitting spot is designed to evenly distribute the pressure from the tandem rider's weight to reduce fatigue and increase comfort, even during longer rides. Also, an aluminum grab-bar is provided which adopts the same coloring as the model's body parts.
